CURRENT FESTIVAL – Rammed earth workshop

In the construction workshop with the artist Valentina Karga and the site manager Hubert Heinrichs, the various elements of the installation ISLAND are erected using a clay construction technique. Together, the earth is tamped into shape, an island is created.

CURRENT is a transdisciplinary festival for art in urban space. The first edition will take place from 9—19 September 2021 in Stuttgart. Installations, performances, discussions and workshops set out to explore the connection between art, architecture and the city.
